Philosophy
I'm really into integrated workouts. Ideally, I like my clients to do 1/2 weight training and 1/2 pilates. I like to do this in the same workout.
90% of most workouts are only done in flexion and extension. I want to work in all planes of movement, flexion, extension, rotation and lateral flexion. This is what creates core stability, mobility, balance and flexibility.
Teaching pilates has really opened my eyes to the subleties of exercise. I think focusing on core stability at the initiation of all exercise is key to performing all moves safely and effectively.
