Events at Toluca Lake Tennis Club hugely popular (7/29/2012)Forty years after Paul Ramsey founded the Toluca Lake Tennis Club and twenty years after the addition of a large fitness center, this outstanding club has been experiencing a renaissance of sorts. Located south of Burbank, across from Warner Bros. Studios, memberships for both tennis and fitness are growing so rapidly that a waiting list had to be put in place. With new management and an international lineup of tennis pros, the members are active and engaged. This renewed interest has been propelled by a varied and exciting calendar of events; some of the best Southern California has to offer.

June 30 was supposed to be like any other annual Wimbledon wooden racquet tournament at Toluca Lake TC. Instead, the day turned out to be much more memorable.

The Sports Center at Toluca Lake Tennis Club received honorable mention as one of LA's best boutique gyms. Specific accolades were given to Brian Shiers' class, "War and Peace" calling it "a sweat-inducing hour of kickboxing, martial arts drills, and meditation." - April 2008.
