Summer Tennis Camp at TLTC
The Toluca Lake Tennis Club’s summer camp for juniors has literally grown every year. Last year over 120 kids came out to enjoy the on-court fun that this program offers. Ben and his enthusiastic staff of certified teaching professionals strive to not only teach the fundamentals, but more importantly, they are dedicated to helping every player fall in the love with the sport. After all, tennis is the sport of a lifetime, and we hope these kids will grow up to play tennis for the rest of their lives.

About the Camp

Camp is offered daily (Mon.-Fri.) from mid-June thru mid-Aug. There is no minimum required, so you can literally make your own schedule! The camp is divided up into two different sessions. If your child is new to the sport, he/she should come to the 10:30-12:30 “AM Session”. This is geared to helping beginners learn the basics: proper grips, groundstrokes, footwork, volleys, parts of the court, etc. We incorporate lots of fun games to disguise the “learning”. (See downloadable flyer for more details.)
If your child is not a beginner, and can serve and play matches, he/she should come to the 2:30-4:30 “PM Session”. This is for intermediate and advanced players who are playing team tennis and/or tournaments. The footwork and drills are much more intense than the AM Session, and the second hour of the session is supervised match play. (See downloadable flyer for more details.)
